Alison & Martin,
'Your Memories' have craftily registered a url which is very similar to
the one used by EH, then use it to re-direct visitors to their web-site.
The copyright lawyers call it 'cyber squatting'... commercial companies
take it seriously because they loose business this way. EH isn't alone,
lots of museums have been caught out by companies registering urls like
this.
If you want to visit the EH web-site the url is:
http://www.english-heritage.org.uk/
But if you type http://www.english-heritage.org/ you will be redirected
to 'Your Memories' (also found at http://www.yourmemories.co.uk/)... you
can see how easy it is to type the wrong url,
with best wishes
