POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT
OHIO, DELAWARE 43015. Ohio Wesleyan University, Department
of Geology and Geography. Tenure-track, Assistant Professor
in the area of HUMAN GEOGRAPHY. Effective Fall, 2002.
Specialties include, but are not limited to, cultural,
economic and urban geography. Specialties which enhance our
interdisciplinary program in Environmental Studies, Urban
Studies, and International Studies are welcome, as are those
which enhance the University’s commitment to diversity.
Research and teaching interests in regions beyond North
America and Western Europe are preferred. The successful
candidate will be responsible for teaching the Department’s
offerings in cultural, economic and urban geography, as well
as upper level courses in the candidate’s areas of interest.
Ohio Wesleyan is a highly selective private liberal arts
college with a long tradition of excellence in Geography.
Founded in 1842, Ohio Wesleyan offers BA degrees in 26
Departments and Programs including Geography, Geology,
and Environmental Studies, and enrolls 1850 students. The

A Ph.D. is required. ABD’s who will complete the Ph.D.
within one year of hiring will be considered. Submit a

Employment is contingent upon proof of eligibility to work
