Hi Paul
You might like to look at the Walkers showcase for some ideas. This is quite
a neat site, and I particularly like the fact that any school can become
involved in displaying their students' work. I had a quick browse, read a
poem and listened to some trumpet playing!
The site is at http://www.walkersshowcase.co.uk/index.jsp, and describes
itself as:
"Walkers SHOWCASE is an Internet gallery which enables schools to display
children's work on the Web and enables family and friends at home to view
the amazing work they are doing at home and at school.
Every school in England, Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland and Eire has
received an invitation to take part. Teachers in participating schools
create a SHOWCASE for their school, proudly presenting the best work created
by their pupils. SHOWCASE includes amazingly creative work by children of
all ages - from first-years at primary school right through to sixth
formers."
It is produced by TAG learning

I have a question:
I work for a Theatre Company - C&T - who are developing a new
educational drama project called 'The Living Newspaper'. The
project will involve groups of students in schools, colleges,
universities and ICT Learning Centres exploring through drama
topical news stories of interest to them and their communities.
The results of this drama work can then be recorded - perhaps as
photos, video clips, sounfiles, graphics, text - and then posted on a
a central website that can collate these diverse materials and
enable other users to access them.
We have benn looking at one particular package that we could
customise for our particular needs, but I would be interested to
know if anybody knows of other soloutions we could look at...?
Best wishes
Paul
