Black Voluntary Sector Network Wales (BVSNW) is a voluntary organisation,
which operates throughout Wales to raise the awareness of the needs of the
Black voluntary sector in Wales and build the capacity of this sector. BVSNW
is core funded by the Welsh Assembly Government, and currently project
funded by the Home Office and Save the Children Fund, as such the
continuation of jobs and the organisation is dependent upon continued
funding.
BVSNW are recruiting for a full time Project Manager
The Salary scale: - P02 - PO4 depending on experience and qualification
Hours: - 37hrs per Week
The Post Holders responsibility will be: -
* To lead and manage the organisation, its people and
resources.
* To direct and manage a range of projects to ensure agreed
objectives
are met.
* To promote and represent BVSNW, to enhance its reputation
and influence policy in Wales.
The applicant should have a relevant professional qualification, 2 years
experience of managing staff and budgets and 3 years experience of working
with Black & Minority Ethnic Communities at all levels.
