Will the academic papers be peer-reviewed? Or are you asking for those that
have been published elsewhere? Peer-reviewing is important to those of
working in academia (as I'm sure you know Roiyah) and many are told not to
waste their time writing for non-peer-reviewed journals.

Good Morning!
I am writing to invite you to submit information to the 'Spotlight articles
and news' section of the BE4 Project website that will going life at the
end of November 2002. I have been in contact with many of you individually,
but I am sending this message so that you all can have a picture of how
this section of the website will be organised. I encourage you to submit
information and I will endeavour to get as many people to visit and learn
about your respective organisations, projects, initiatives, and academic
concerns and findings. Please contribute!
Spotlight articles and news
This section will be updated every two months, although all submissions will
remain available throughout the life of the project. After December 2003,
all BE4 webpages will be embedded in the AWETU website.
This section will be divided into the following sections:
1)Academic journal articles and papers covering all aspects of Black, Asian
and Minority Ethnic life, in particular health, mental health and social
care policy and practice, as well as social history and theoretical pieces
(i.e., health and 'race')
2) Spotlight on organisations working with, and for Black and Minority
Ethnic people in Wales
3) Projects targeting Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic people in Wales
(covering all areas, in particular, health, mental health and social care)
4)Initiatives promoting the concerns of Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic
people nationally (i.e., Diabetes, Sickle Cell and Thalassaemia
5)Projects and organisations targeting or working with and for Black and
Minority Ethnic people in Britain
