Applications are invited for the post of a full-time Research Assistant to
undertake the Foundation for people with Learning Disabilities funded
project on meeting the mental health needs of young people with learning
disabilities (The implementation of self-defined service models via a
liaison worker in a multi-ethnic inner city population). This project is
funded for 2 years.
The appointee will have a good first degree in health or social sciences and
have some previous research experience, good communication and time
management skills. Ability to speak an Asian language (Hindi, Urdu, Punjabi
or Bengali) is desirable.
