Hi,
Thanks to the 26 institutions that responded to my question about web teams
and CMS (original message below dated 13th March 2002). The results are
quite interesting:
* About 50% of institutions DON'T centrally manage
School/Faculty/Department pages. Of those, only 8% use a CMS.
* Of the 50% that DO centrally manage School/Faculty/Department pages,
66% use a CMS.
* Both groups have an average central staff resource of about 3.3
people.
Enclosed is an Excel spreadsheet detailing the responses, including the
types of CMS being used.
