Here at Queen's University Belfast we have been running Ultraseek/Inktomi since September
1999. Unlike Sally we have had an excellent relationship with the resellers (Netobjects).
Answers to queries are quick and accurate. The software is great and we've had no
problems at all with it in the three years. I think I sound like an Inktomi sales rep now
but ....
it's expensive!! We thought the one off cost at the start was expensive but that the
annual cost of support and update was reasonable. The support and update cost has however
gone up significantly since 1999 and we are now considering other options - such as
Verity K2.
