If you go to www.linkpopularity.com you can find who is linking to these
sites.
If you go to, say, Hotbot, you can restrict the links by domain. So
searching for links from .ac.uk I find only 2 unique links
(http://www.nottingham.ac.uk/sbe/planbiblios/contacts/web2.html and
http://www.nottingham.ac.uk/sbe/planbiblios/bibs/urban/13a.html)
I guess you know about these!
Obviously the Linkpopularity data is incomplete (it won't include links
from the JISCMail archive of your posting for example).
