Hi,
I've heard that some people are using WebCT Vista - is that anywhere in the
UK?
This from their
website:<http://www.webct.com/products/viewpage?name=products_vista_architec
ture>
Four-tier Web Application Architecture
WebCT Vista's four-tier architecture allows for cross-platform portability
and scalability to meet the needs of even the largest institution or
consortium. The core components are:
* JavaTM 2 Platform, Enterprise Edition (J2EE) Architecture
* Oracle 9i Database
* Oracle Internet File System
* BEA WebLogic Enterprise Server
This implies it's not cheap.
I thought that WebCT were dead and buried due to the BlackBoard onslaught.
Am I right?
Cheers
tone
