Web Development Office
In order to enhance the existing Web facilities the University is seeking to
appoint to the following new posts. It is expected that these
appointments will assist with the development of the existing Web facilities
and it is expected that this requirement will take two years to complete.
The posts are therefore offered on a two year fixed term basis.
Assistant Web Developer & Editor Post No

£20,430 - £21,786 pa
We require a highly motivated and dynamic professional to support the Web
Developer and Editor in managing the profile of the university on the
Internet. You will be involved in the development of the existing corporate
style plus the implementation of a quality assured content management
system.
A graduate or equivalent, you will have a good working knowledge and
understanding of web design and site navigation issues. You also have at
least 2 years experience maintaining and developing websites and be a
skilled networker.
Web Administrator Post No
A1085
£14,157 - £15,813 pa
This is a key role in the production of high quality web based content,
ensuring the needs of a broad range of target audiences are met. The quality
standards will be high and the volume of output will be substantial.
Creativity, speed and accuracy are all essential requirements and you will
need a genuine awareness of the potential of new media.
You will have twelve months experience in a web marketing or related
environment, be able to work competently with databases and have strong
interpersonal and organisational skills.
