A reminder about this conference on 1 July 2002:
Because of high demand, we have rented more space at the East Midlands
Conference Centre and are no longer limited to 100 delegates. However
immediate booking is advised, and no bookings will be accepted after 7
June.
The program includes an introduction by Sir Colin Campbell, Vice
Chancellor of the University of Nottingham, keynotes by Richard Spencer,
e-business facilitator at the University of British Columbia and Jack
McCredie Associate Vice Chancellor of the University of California at
Berkeley, Chris Awre will be emphasising the synergies between
institutional portals and the Jisc Information Environment, and there
will be eight UK case-studies representing a wide range of visions,
strategies and adopted technologies for delivering a portal and/or
integrated web services.
