| Er, yes : an almost uncontrollable proliferation of newly

Funny, that didn't happen to me (or I would have warned everyone, sorry
about that). I know a useful trick to stop that actually, make a
bookmark/favourite/whatever that links to this:
javascript:window.onload=window.onunload=window.onbeforeunload=null;window.close();//%20Copyright%202000%20SiteExperts.com
Then if you find yourself deluged, you just click on it and there you go.
And while I'm here, here's one to remove the right-click disable (you
know, when the author has decided that they don't want you to view the
source of their page or something):
javascript:document.oncontextmenu=null;document.onmousedown=null;void(0);
And this one resizes your browser window to whatever size you instruct -
useful for quickly checking how the page looks in, say, 800x600:
javascript:resizeTo(800,600)
