Hello Helen,
To address your concern of how LIFT NN/g is priced follows.
LIFT NN/g is like having two products, one for applying section 508/w3c
and one for applying the usability research from Jakob Nielsen's
company. The LIFT NN/g includes a reference book that holds all the
relevant text and supporting notes found in the NN/g report "beyond the
alt text" which would cost around $200 just in pfd form. With LIFT NN/g
you get a product that automates testing for these guidelines that you
can customize and have fix wizards to help repair sites. So you can see
that the additional $249 gets you not only the same content as the
report but tools that are really useful in the application and repair to
these guidelines. If you are interested in an interactive web seminar
on any of the LIFT products, do not hesitate to contact me.
We are also currently working with CHEST to fullfill orders. Additional
info will be posted in the future.
Kind Regards,
Ameet

Subject: Re: [WEBSITE-INFO-MGT] Do we have LIFT off or not I wonder?
Didn't get the mail but I did get phoned by them (from New York) last
week, trying to sell it to me. Interesting that the Nielsen Norman Group
version of LIFT is nearly twice the cost of the ordinary one.
Any chance of a CHEST offer on LIFT products?
