[Slightly OT] For the recent "IMS Code Bash" I produced a Zope 'product'
(i.e. a library) that supports IMS Content Packaging and Metadata. Send
me an email if you'd like to get the code.

Zope was mentioned on the list some time ago. Have a look through the
list archives to see if that meets your needs - though it's a content
management system rather than a VLE.
