A final reminder for the one-day seminar "AIR-RAIL TRANSFER: OPPORTUNITIES
AND BARRIERS" on 21st November 2002, organised by CATE, the Centre for
Aviation, Transport and the Environment at Manchester Metropolitan
University.
The seminar is part of an on-going series of network events that bring
together aviation-related professionals, including those involved in surface
access and land use planning.
The standard cost is £100. Participants will hear from and have the
opportunity to question representatives of KLM and Lufthansa, who have
experience of rail-air substitution on the Continent, plus the SRA,
International Air Rail Organisation, John Whitelegg of the Stockholm
Environment Institute and Manchester Airport.
