Dear All,
We are currently involved in building travel matrices from road side
interviews (RSI), house hold surveys and parking surveys. The sample size
for the RSI is about 10% and that of household surveys is about 1%. In order
to estimate the base year demand matrix, we must amalgamate the data from
the three surveys correctly to reflect current travel patterns in the study
area. We must also avoid any double counting from the tree surveys.
Does anyone have experience of achieving the above. It would be great if
someone could share experiences of achieving similar tasks, point to
techniques, references, software etc.
I would very much welcome any information or references on the above task.
With very warm regards
Sonal
