LEARNING TO LIVE WITH FLOODING IN WALES
The Institution of Civil Engineers, Wales in conjunction with The
Chartered Institution of Water and Environmental Management and
The South Wales Institute of Engineers has organised a
Conference on Flooding on Thursday 31st October 2002 at
COUNTY HALL, Atlantic Wharf, Cardiff, Between 9.00am to around
4.30pm
Commencing with a keynote address from the Minister of
Environment Planning and Transport, there will be papers on
Assembly Strategy, the Regulatory Framework, the Fleming
Commission Outcomes, Flood Defence Management,
Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems, Climate Change,
Local Authority Perspectives, and Next Steps?
There is also exhibition space available.
Costs, including lunch, coffee and delegates packs, have been
kept to a minimum, at £60 (+VAT) per delegate. Exhibition pitches
are available at £100 (+VAT) each, including one delegate. The
Conference will count for 1 day ICE or CIWEM CPD purposes
