Subject: Re: Wheelchair museum?
I recently spoke with a retired faculty member at University of
Florida's College of Medicine who has an antique wheelchair he wants to
donate to an appropriate museum. This wheelchair looks like it was
homemade, and was discoverd in pieces in an antique store in New
England. He repaired and restored it and would like it to go to a
museum where it would be displayed and appreciated. I wonder if anyone
knows of a history of science/medicine/medical or health care appliances
that might have relevant exhibits?
Thanks for your help.
