Dear All,
Could anyone interested in submitting a paper (or already planning
one for this conference) on any of the topics below, please let me know
by next Friday (22nd). (Mainly to make sure that any overlapping
papers/plans are recognised early on). I'll then get back to everyone
who's been in touch with a summary.
This seems like an opportunity to catch up or write up developments
leading up to SC2002.
There is a deadline of December 24th 2002 for submitted papers.
Cheers, Tony

Call For Workshop Papers
This is a general call for papers about the use of problem-solving
environments in Grid computing. Particular areas of interest are those
related to academic, industrial, or commercial applications in areas
such as bio-informatics, healthcare and medical informatics, earth and
environmental science, engineering, mathematics, and the physical sciences.
In addition, papers describing the software infrastructure of PSEs would be
of interest.
Topics of interest for this workshop include, but are not limited to:
o PSEs for collaborative analysis, planning, and decision support.
o Visualisation within PSEs, including collaborative visualization and
computational steering.
o Recommender systems.
o PSEs for data mining and information management.
o The use of ontologies in PSEs.
o PSE support for workflow logging and knowledge capture.
o Accessing Web and Grid services from a PSE.
o Resource discovery and scheduling services for PSEs.
o Visual environments for composing applications as workflows.
o Generic software infrastructure for PSEs.
There is a deadline of December 24th 2002 for submitted papers.
