Dear All,
Just (re-)clarified.
The TOP version is the version to use. The web page is being updated
(by NERC) to incorporate this as the single definitive abstract template.
1. The abstract template which should be used is the one at the TOP of the
page
http://www.research-councils.ac.uk/escience/documents/GuidelinesforSubmissionofA
bstracts.shtml
"Contributions should be prepared using the template provided."
--------
Hope that this hasn't stopped too many people in their tracks.
The formal deadline of 12th July is still fixed.
Cheers, Tony

Subject: RE: GridPP request summary
Hi Tony,
I am able to confirm that my instruction to use the first abstract format
is, indeed correct. As per our conversation the second template is the rogue
one and we have made the amendments to the links but are waiting NERC
administrators to upload.
I have discussed this with Becky and she is also now aware that there were
two versions (hence the confusion).
Apologies for any inconvenience.
Regards,
Carol
