My edition of this is dated 1975
Whilst I might quarrel with one or two things in the book
I've just spent half-an-hour looking through it
and it remains an excellent piece of work
explaining as it does many verse-forms
and many of the terms one comes across
in describing and critiqueing poetry.
I don't know if the book has been updated at all
but I'd certainly agree that all would-be poets should read it
Certainly, now I've blown the dust off its cover
I'll be delving into it a bit deeper.
yours
Gerald
