The gentle iambic pentameter accents the wistful sadness of the theme.
I'm guessing it's about your father?
I found parts a little obscure. Eg in S1, L2 I'm not sure what "it" refers
to (further confused by the preceding "it" in L1); also the first couple of
lines in S4. (Do they mean, "I journeyed on with many things unresolved",
and what's got " more to do with speech"?)
Probably just me being dim.
