Hi christina,
A clever, clear poem. I like the way it merges sexuality and religion, how
it plays off innocence and experience!
If I wonder about one thing it’s that the religious experience may belong to
someone younger than the sexual experience... But they may belong at the
same age...
I’m also amazed, and envious, at how you conjure up so much intimacy (and
secrecy) in the conclusion of the poem!
I like it as it works right now!
But the whip and top... (is this BDSM?) (lol?) Or did they return as a
childhood craze somewhere inbetween hoola hoops (not the sweets!) yo-yo's
(again not the sweets!!) and playstation2?
