overreaching itself; but the sonnet form's so versatile that it's fun just
playing around with it from time to time to see what it can do.
That's a great story, Arthur; you should make a poem of it!
John, good suggestions on the closing punctuation, which I've adopted.
Terri, you're right about the title, which was provisional. At the moment
it's retitled "Who's Afraid?" but if anybody has any better ideas I'd be
grateful.
