Hi Colin, thanks for your emails on this and your suggestions.
It's funny about the shooting star. As I was wandering home the night I
heard the story and when my friend needed the comfort of friends gathered
close in order to tell it, a vehicle was passing on the far side of the
railway line and its lights reflected on the overhead cables that electrify
the trains. For a moment it looked something like a shooting star - only a
moment and I felt there was some resonance with the story still in my head.
Much work to do on the piece if I can muster the energy and effort. If not,
at least another snapshot is recorded, however inadequately.
Cheers,
Frank
