Dear Arthur,
I wonder what we'd think if Tolstoy said he'd spent the rest of his life
learning to write like a child?
Kind regards,
grasshopper
Actually, Grassy, it is not all that uncommon. I have quotes by Picasso
that he never learned to paint till elderly, and the same about Basho and
the best Chinese poets. Perhaps a mark of genius.
