The time is 921am (approximately). The weather today is cloudy - the
possibility of a shower or two, but generally fine, with a temperature in
the low twenties (centigrade).
It is very pleasent. I have just returned from my morning latte, taken at a
streetside table kindly provided by Dominic, with the merest zephyr of
breeze ruffling both my hair and the pages of the broadsheet. The music from
the cafe speaker system was a little overloud and somewhat tinny, but I was
able to accept the call and hear the voice (barely) of a passing friend who
spotted me whilst on the way to work, and arrange for drinks over lunch.
It's a pretty tough life, all in all, but I always say that what doesn't
kill us, makes us stronger.
Cheers,
Frank
