Yeh, now you mention it, there is a hint of Ginsberg's Howl... But it may be
that I didn't find that because, under your title, I read "For Igor
Stepanov" and then I was reading about things in Europe and associating with
Communists and very hetrosexual activity! None of those things hinted at
Ginsberg!
When I've tried homages I've found I needed a little flag to wave somewhere
saying what I was doing (a sort of dedication line under the title is the
usual thing but, here, that's not so easy...)
I guess, these days, Ginsberg has been pushed out of the canon so, if the
homage angle to what your doing seems important to you, it might be that
there needs to be a way of drawing attention to that.
But your ultra-long rangy lines (like Whitman without a bible) have an
appeal of their own.
