Hi James,
Scuse my butting in... But -
I found the Faber book of sonnets (Edited by Dan Paterson) a really good
read - with a fine introduction (which, as has been mentioned on The Works
before, has some naff theories about mathematics) really helpful and
enjoyable when I was addicted to the form a year or so back!
(Oh, and you'd probably enjoy my book - but it would be so expensive to meet
so you could buy a copy personally!). Just under 40 sonnets in it! (and, as
the publisher's remarked) at less than 9 pence a poem it's a real bargain!
LOL!)
(I guess y could get each from yr Library, tho!)
How's your CD going?
Bob
