Glad it brings back memories. Yes the flock mattress I remember and the
great black over coat we had on our bed as children had big brass buttons
too. I think it was one that was used by the firefighters (ooops) of the war
days. Bw Sally J
I do know that these iron bed steads could collapse and the springs were
creaky but we were only children and should not know about these things
(ooops again)
