Grassy - I know of hancock, and have seen odd moments of his skits, but I
don't know him well and am not familiar with titles to the skits. I believe
they're available on video over here now, but I son't own a VCR at this
stage, so sadly I'm doomed to ignorance for a while longer - I'll check him
out more purposefully if I get a chance.

>Dear Frank,
>Surely you've heard some Hancock's Half-hour radio programmes? If not,
>please do, because you've missed some of the greatest comedy ever.
>Sunday Afternoon is about an odd household of people - Hancock, Hattie
>Jacques, Sid James and Bill Kerr (the gormless Australian)- experiencing a
>totally boring Sunday afternoon in Cheam.
>
>It predates that marvellous exchange from the opening Sienfield show:
>I've got a great idea for a comedy programme.
>What's it about?
>Nothing.
>Nothing? But what happens?
>Nothing.
>
>Apart from Sunday Afternoon,I think my favourite Hancock programme is The
>Missing Page, where Hancock gets a whodunnit from the library and then finds
>the final page with the solution is missing....
