Dear Sue,
I take your point that you can do just about what you want in
the kingdom of imagination.However, I must confess that my problem was that
there are so many poetic cliches about roses, that I would have liked your
rose to be a more original thinker.
Having said that I find something like 'The Last Rose of Summer' very
moving every time I hear it sung.
