I take "do a prison make" as being an echo or gloss on Lovelace.
Even so it sounds a little clumsy coming so early in the poem.

Well. gary, it ends at Easy laughter. It starts at the beginning, and I
think you need all up to manufactured fear and then skip to The world may
see walls ....easy laughter.
Thats my take on it.
