Hi Frank,
I'm a little late with this comment - but you've made it yourself! That it's
a poem that relies on the reader finding the voice, that the reader then
performs it for themselves!
I guess, sometimes, such poems that appear to be (ahem) "slight" can find a
powerful place in a longer sequence as well.
