good one
it reminds me that it is important not to buy your lottery ticket early in
the week.
If you buy it on monday, you have a greater chance of being dead than
winning the jackpot

Subject: sub: a lot o' week
tuesday and wednesday are the empty days
no prospects to look forward to
thursdays need at least a moment to check numbers
and ensure the ticket is still good
friday is a surge of hope held in the belly
a mind filled with with bright lights and speculations
saturday should be the big day but I don't watch in the evening
my details are on a plastic card and my evening is hopeful dreams
sunday the papers are a temptation I resist
that is no way to discover something momentous
monday every entry has been computer checked
and any call on the telephone could be the one that tells me
tuesday is an empty day
