Shalom James
Your poem is very peaceful; it rings of universal experience.

PEACE
Sit on a lounger in the open
looking west at the sky
out to sea
I glide towards the horizon [I like this stanza; it feels so traquil]
though it glides
towards me on the clouds
where one part is grey flat
becoming larger, the other
blue with streaked white stratus
each in slow battle for dominance.
I wonder if the scale should
frighten me, if an air
peace corps should take flight [now this is fresh]
and sort it out, make a racket
with smart bombs, missiles
and good old fashioned rockets.
I drift off to sleep
as the sun appears. >>
