Thats because it's a jisc list. All jisc lists are run through the
universities but poetry is different, most of us have found the group as
poets and, well, poets are allowed to work in universities! but by no means
all of us do.
In answer to the other question, what do we think makes writing poetical,
well I have come more and more to think poetry is about awareness by
feelings rather than facts. And it must be in excellent language.
