NE England and Cumbria.(i.e. the Northern Arts Region as of April 2001 - pre
Arts Council Reorganisation)

Submissions are invited for publication of a full-length collection of
poetry. Initially a selection of around 30 (thirty) poems for evaluation by
snail mail to the address below. Authors must have had poems published in
reputable magazines and/or have had success in open competitions or possibly
pamphlets published (NOT VANITY PRESS i.e. if you paid someone to publish
it - it doesn't count) . Attach a brief biography and publication history to
your submission. Submissions should be typed clearly on ONE SIDE ONLY of
standard A4 paper. Authors should be prepared to supply further poems if
called upon to do so to make up a book of about 70 (seventy) pages at about
35 lines per page.

Unfortunately I cannot consider anyone from outside of the above region at
the moment, but will announce when and if I can.

Please enclose a stamped addressed envelope for reply/return of manuscripts.
