Were there any other error messages that related more to the spm_sample_vol routine
(e.g., "Segmentation fault ", "File too small.", or "Cant map image file.")?
The "File too small" error message would indicate that there was a problem with pre-processing
the images. Maybe smoothing crashed out before the complete smoothed images were generated.
What happens if you type the following into Matlab, and select one of your images? :
V = spm_vol(spm_get(1,'*.img'));
[x,y,z] = ndgrid(1:V.dim(1),1:V.dim(2),V.dim(3)/2);
d = spm_sample_vol(V,x,y,z,1);
The error message here should indicate if there has been some kind kind of problem
in compiling/transferring the dll files, or maybe if there is a problem with your image format.
