Dear John and SPMers,
when playing around with spm2b I noticed that during segmentation of, say
xyz.img now mxyz.img, .hdr, .mat are produced (eg as 32 bit data from 16 bit
entered xyz.img). Why is that?
Second, the segmentation tool no longer asks for inhomogenheity correction
(or, as now obviously called, bias correction) although in the description
displayed by the help function this is still described. Perhaps this
functionality is not active in my installation and I should reinstall? Or
has the help text not been updated yet?
Third, when running bias correction using the respective button no 'little'
and 'lots' alternative is possible, right?; a file bias_xyz.mat is produced.
How can I segment the bias-corrected image, or, in other words, under which
conditions is the information contained in bias_xyz.mat used in the
segmentation?
Any help is appreciated.
Regards, Florian
