Hi Matt,
Have you all the latest "patches" installed? (Check the SPM website - I can
help if you get stuck). I run fMRI analyses on Win2k with no probs. Unless
your machine is using the NTFS filesystem, the permissions thing is a red
herring. I guess we're running the same version of Matlab (=5.3?) as you,
so this can't be one of the Matlab 6.x issues.
I guess the latest spm patches will fix it. Sorry I can't be of more help.
