Apologies for cross-postings
The first meeting of the new Spectroscopy and Dynamics Group of the
Royal Society of Chemistry will take place at the University of Sussex
from 17-19 December 2002.
Invited speakers are:
Prof. Mike Duncan (University of Georgia), Prof. Ed Hinds
(University of Sussex), Prof. Meiwes-Broer (University of Rostock), Dr
David Chandler (Sandia National Laboratories), Prof. Peter Knowles
(University of Birmingham).
The meeting will begin on the Tuesday evening with two tutorial talks
aimed mainly, but by no means exclusively, at graduate students. The
registration deadline is 15 November.
Graduate students and postdocs are encouraged to present their work
with either posters or contributed talks (c.20 min). We endeavour to
include as many of the latter in the programme as possible.
Student bursaries are available for those presenting work who are or
intend to become SDG members. (Current members of HRSG or MBDG will
become SDG members automatically.)
