Dear Spectroscopy Group ...
Can anyone help us ? Our laser induced fluorescence experiments rely on a
tunable cw a Spectra Physics 380 ring dye laser. The controlling
electronics (SP 481B) recently failed (burned out). We are looking for a
replacement , but Spectra Physics consider this apparatus to be 'obsolete'
and cannot help.
Do you have, or know anyone who happens to have, unused electronics which
they might be prepared to let us borrow (on extended loan)? or have any
contacts who might be able to help us ?
If you have a SP 380 D ring dye laser and have a circuit diagram for
the electronics giving more detail than can be found in the Manual, this
would also be of great help.
I apologise to those of you whom I've already pestered with questions on
this subject.
Many thanks, Amanda Ross.
