Dear list members:
I would like to know if there is any research done (or in progress) regarding
the simulation of "coalition formation" from a social perspective.
I am interesting in simulating the dynamics of coalition or group formation
(political coalitions, mergins of firms, city dynamics, etc.) using a Game
Theoretical approach where the individual's preferences over coalitions would
be the driving force of such dynamics.
I have searched the Web and several ACE sites for such projects with no luck
so far. For instance, in the AgentLink.org site
http://www.AgentLink.org/resources/clearing-house/2-1.html
there are no references to coalition formation research (item 2.1.5)
Any pointer will be highly appreciated
Thanks in advance for your help
