a mini-conference (max 20 participants) on EDUCATION AND PUBLIC PROGRAMMING
AT SCIENCE DISCOVERY CENTRES
WHO
The education and public programmes heads of science and discovery centres
-- those who have a remit to deliver out-reach programmes (from centres into
schools) and/or to run out-of-school activities at their centres (eg
science/astronomy/etc clubs).
WHEN
November: from 6pm Wednesday 20th, through to 5pm on the 21st

WHAT
On 20th: introductions, and getting-to-know you evening
On 21st: early start, programme presentations by participants, wide-ranging
discussion from the general to the particular, concluding with consensus on
practical outcomes.
The purpose is to share best practice and network face-to-face, establishing
and reaffirming some personal connections as well as the present electronic
ones.
HOW MUCH
No charge for the event itself and the accommodation, but a deposit is
payable on booking - refunded to all those who turn up on the day.
Beyond that, you need to get yourself to/from Bromsgrove.

institution, and reason for wishing to participate. You will then receive
from the Potential Trust a formal invitation and request for booking
information.
