The European Network of Science Communication Teachers
(ENSCOT) is pleased to announce the first European
Conference on Science Communication Teaching, which
will take place in Dublin, Ireland on the 4 & 5
November 2002.
The conference will bring together leading figures
from science communication teaching across Europe and
offer the opportunity to share best practice, exchange
ideas and learn more about what is happening elsewhere
in the field. In particular the conference will offer
participants the opportunity to:
* Learn more about the European Commission's Framework
6 funding programme, with a keynote address from Kurt
Vandenberghe, Cabinet of Philippe Busquin, European
Commission.
* Update knowledge of current research and best
practice in science communication teaching across
Europe, through plenary sessions and poster
presentations
* Preview and comment on the training workshop and
teaching modules being developed by ENSCOT
* Join the next phase of the European Network of
Science Communication Teachers.
