PRESENTERS
Salary £15,387 pro rata
Full Time post or Part Time (Hours Negotiable)
The Education and Public Programmes Department is seeking to appoint
enthusiastic and effective communicators to join the Museum's team of
Presenters.
You will deliver a programme of live events and presentations to a wide
audience of Museum visitors, linked to the collections and Special
Exhibitions, including science shows and demonstrations of working
machinery.
Reporting to the Public Programmes Co-ordinator, you will also be
responsible for generating new ideas for programmes, researching, writing
scripts and making models/props to aid presentations.
Applicants must have experience of presenting to a live audience, in a
museum, science centre or heritage environment. In addition, you will have
excellent communication and team working skills. Some technical expertise
is required in preparing and operating working machinery, however full
training is provided.
