Hi Malcolm
We have had notice of the Royal Society event in Leeds (which is part of
our week-long series on 'Science, Business and Society') on our website for
a few months now. There are events on Thursday and Friday evenings this
week in Leeds as well.
We will be running a similar series in Edinburgh in April 2003 on the theme
of 'Science, Politics and Society'.
For list members in the north, the website also has details of the thriving
Cafes Scientifiques in Leeds, Newcastle, York and Lancaster. The Manchester
Cafe Scientifique wil launch early in 2003.
The website address is www.cafescientifique.org . Info on the 'series'
events is (unsurprisingly) under the 'Events' menu option.
Hope that helps!
Best wishes,
Teresa
