I thought the list members may be interested in this,
following the discussions on creationism a while back.
But please, if you have any comments or feedback
please email the contact address at the end of this
message ([log in to unmask]) rather than responding to
the mailing list.
Best wishes
Natalie

The Institute of Biology have published a couple of
new fact sheets on
creationism and evolution. They are both freely
available through the
Institute's website and have been peer reviewed by
teachers, scientists and
theology education experts. The first is aimed to be
of use to teachers in
the classroom by providing answers to some of the most
common creationist
concerns.

The second is a brief introduction to evolution. While
not a replacement for
textbooks or the excellent popular science titles
available, it is a short
starting point that may be of interest to students and
provides links to
further resources.

Other fact sheets are available on topics ranging from
stem cells to the
Kyoto protocol.
